Per [info]matociquala, [info]jeffvandermeer and [info]tobiasbuckellwho are doing it, and I want to be cool too, here's my default work/life schedule:

Weekdays when I am home
5:30 amGet up, shower, quick prance through morning email and blogroll. (I am often up before the alarm.)
6:00 amArrive at Day Job. (Home office is up a flight of stairs from bedroom.)
11:00 amLunch. (Usually out, with someone, because otherwise I'm alone most of the day.)
3:00 pmWrap up Day Job, begin hanging with [info]the_child. (Except Tuesdays, when I go to the coffee house right at 3.)
6:00 pmGet to work on writing or personal projects.
9:30 pmGo to bed.

Weekdays when I am on the road
6:00 amGet up, shower, quick prance through morning email and blogroll. (This is affected by time zone issues and travel fatigue.)
7:30 amArrive at Day Job. (In Omaha, this is a 15 minute commute.)
5:30 pmWrap up Day Job, go to business dinner or personal time.
8:00 pmGet to work on writing or personal projects.
10:00 pmGo to bed

Weekends
7:00 amGet up, shower, quick prance through morning email and blogroll.
8:00 amEither start hanging with [info]the_child or get to work on writing or personal projects. (I try to do one day of each on typical weekends, except I almost never have a typical weekend.)
9:30 pmGo to bed.

There's probably more, but that's the default routine. Note no time for television, gaming, pub crawling, concert going...

Well at least you make time for prancing.

I haven't shared this with many other than M., but I am so very jealous of those who can get ready in 30 minutes (or less) in the morning. My routine (even eliminating breakfasting and computering) takes much longer. I wonder if it's a skill learned by sharing a bathroom with siblings (I had none) or if I'm just too set in my ways and systematic or...?

I'd suggest a poll on "How long does it take you to get ready on a typical morning?" but I know The Proprietor has better things to do with his time. :)

Never figured you for a prancer. Thought you would be more of a Comet or Blitzen.
