Team Obama embraces 'Obamacare' label[I]f we ignore perceptions and deal with reality, "Obamacare" is, in fact, delivering on its promise, and helping millions of families who need the support. Luckily for the Republican party's political fortunes, many millions of American voters will never forsake comfortably valorizing paranoid perception for the cold, hard, progressive reality of facts.

The Barbarism of the Health-Care Repeal CrusadeIn every other advanced country, the provision of universal access to medical care is a public responsibility. In every other advanced country, this principle has been accepted by the mainstream conservative party. re: Health Care -- it's kind of telling that America has an abysmal record when it comes to ratifying international human rights treaties (among others). It would be funny, if it weren't so infuriating, the way we sometimes like to pretend we're the humanitarian enforcers of the world when we're failing so badly to uphold so many human rights tenets within our own populace.

>>Team Obama embraces 'Obamacare' label<<

I don't know why they didn't do this long before. Most Democrats I know, at least, hear "Obamacare" as "Obama cares", the same way that when Republicans turned abomination into "Obamanation", the Democrats heard it as "Obama Nation".
