Finding an Agent — Lucienne Diver.

Reference to humans with this and that — This kind of language neepery fascinates me.

The Right Flames the Volt"There are so many legitimate things to criticize Obama about. It is inexplicable that the right would feel the need to tell lies about the Volt to attack the president." (Snurched from Steve Buchheit.)

Republicans Are Still the Party of Insolvency and Imperialism — Anyone voting Republican in the forthcoming presidential election is flatly ignoring the bald facts of what happened the last time we had Republican rule in this country in favor of bizarre, fetishistic fantasies about Obama's alleged beliefs and actions.

Put him in a longboat until he gets sober.

Which is what the Republicans need to do with the whackadoos who seem to be in charge of their party these days.

>>The Right Flames the Volt<<

Mainly lately I'm seeing the Right criticizing Obama for doing things they supported under George W. Bush, chiefly the Executive Order about nationalizing industries and resources in a crisis (Bush didn't specifically make an E.O., since he already had Clinton's, but he did do this as a Homeland Security Directive), and arresting and holding U.S. citizens without charges (which the Bush administration argued in favor of during the Padilla lawsuit).

"Money is more important for men"? I think those shitheads need to be strapped into a chair and have Lily Tomlin kick them repeatedly.

(Explanation: there's a scene in 9 to 5 where Dabney Coleman's character says essentially the same thing to Lily Tomlin's character, that he promoted a man over her because that man has a family to support. Never mind that Tomlin's character is a single mother, also with a family to support.)

"Money is more important for men"?

That's right up there with "Oh, she'll just get pregnant and quit, anyway."

Grrr...
