Last night, Lisa Costello and I had dinner with Kerrie Hughes and John Helfers at the Doug Fir. It was a pretty good meal in an elegant setting with two people I really enjoy. We talked writing and publishing and food and movies and mutual friends and our respective children and whatnot.
Sometimes it's nice just to get out and live life like normal. Plus, at the Doug Fir, there is this watching over the restrooms:
