Herewith find attached the most embarrassing childhood photo in the history of EVAR. I posted this yesterday on Twitter and Facebook. Hilarity ensued in comments. Though my favorite snark was from a friend of Mother of the Child's who looked at it on my phone last night, then said, "So, how many years after that did it take you to get laid?"

Me, in Nigeria, circa 1979

Your challenge: post your own deeply embarrassing childhood photo, either here or on your own social media presence, but with a link here.

Can you outdo me?

Photo circa 1979, credit unknown. From my personal files.

I have nothing to match that... although my cousins have the turkey pan picture with all of the being bathed on the lawn and standing up spread eagle in the pans as toddlers. My uncle gleefully showed that to all their fiances...

Funny, there is a picture of me as a baby in a Rubbermaid dishpan with an elastic bowl cover over my head (as a bath cap sort of thing) but I don't really find it embarrassing. I also don't happen to have a copy of it in my possession.

I honestly thought that was a girl. But I always did think you were rather pretty. So actually, speaking as someone who was and is always more interested in girls....I wonder if the answer to MoC's question might be "not long"?

This is the one of mine that generates the most laughs:

Although personally, I find this one more embarrassing:

Me, aged 4.

I was doing the "Two little dickeybirds", and of course, at this age, had no idea why my father kept wanting me to do it (so he could capture this incredible moment)

And for me at the same age and time as Jay's lovely shot above, Try this. Of course, when my brother was looking for shots of all us kids to put on a mug for Father's day, did he pick any of the really nice ones of me? Do you have to ask????
