That looks unutterably disgusting, and resembles neither mallow nor dog. Was it tasty?

And here I was expecting a marshmallow-covered hot dog when I clicked on the link. Sort of like a corn dog with a sweet tooth.

I googled "mallowdog," and found this (talk about TMI...):

>Kandy Kastle has introduced a line of marshmallow candies shaped like fast-food items...

>The San Diego-based company has rolled out the Mallowbuger, Mallowdog, and Mallowfries, marshmallow treats that look like their fast-food counterparts. The Mallowfries and Mallowdog come with packets of strawberry sour gel "ketchup."

>The company has also introduced the Hose Nose, a green-goo-filled fake nose that can be strapped on the face over the real thing. When squeezed, the candy runs out and…well, you get the idea, right?

Sadly, it's probably just as nutritious as a real one.

This is what our country needs to be protected against. Show me the presidential candidate who comes out against the MallowDog and I'll know where my vote will go.

They have mallow-fries at my local 7-11 out here on Long Island, in NY. It's the end of the world, I tell you!

That thing sat staring at me from Pomeroy to Missoula. I think I may need therapy.

Heck- I stared at ye' for longer than that- but probably with a different intent than the evil marshmallow hotdog.

Somehow, especially those last three shots, this food just looks...obscene. IN every way that word can be applied.

Yikes.

I've seen web chronicles of untreated black widow spider bites (go ahead, google it) that didn't look as nasty as that thing.

One of my kids recently got a "mallow pork bun" in a birthday party goodie bag. I think that's what it was supposed to be, anyway. (The packaging did not feature the English language.)
