In the past three days, I've done a heckpile of paperwork on the house transactions, executed a major emergency project at work, dealt with various the_child issues, packed for a 15 day road trip to New Mexico and Nebraska, spent 5 hours in the emergency room with a sick family member (that turned out okay), engaged in some burst-mode socializing, arranged the move from Viejo Rancho Lake to Nuevo Rancho Lake, and probably about 17 other things I can't remember now. This involves an average of about 5 hours' sleep per night since I got back from Missoula.
On the plus side, going off the grid tomorrow means peace, quiet and time to do whatever I want, as long as it involves writing or gourmet cooking.
For those playing along with the home game edition of Where's Jay, it's New Mexico from today through the 10th, then Nebraska from the 10th to the 15th, then home again. Move is now scheduled for the 26th, and I'm off to San Mateo on the 28th.
See some, all, or none of you around the joint somewhere.
