I had a boatload of Mainspring Powell's | Amazon ] related links from a patient Google harvest, but lost them all when my browser dumped out on me. I don't have the time or patience to rebuild the list. There was, however, this tombstone review from the Salem, OR StatesmanJournal.

Oh, and the book seems to have it's own Wikipedia page.

I assumed 'tombstone' to mean bad review when it's just a thumbnail. Nice to get your name mentioned, huh? *S*

Still and all ... "first novel"?

And "more than 100" means in this context "lots and lots more than 100", right?

Well, first New York trade novel. And yes, 200+ at this point. But who's counting?

So it does.

I've just done my first ever Wikipedia edit, to change mention of "Stemwinder" to "Escapement" on your Wiki page.

I'll probably be asked to source that...

Oh, thank you. That was bugging me, but I know better than to edit a page which concerns me directly.
