Congratulations! But I must ask: a week ago, there was a posting that described "Last Plane to Heaven: A Love Story" as a work-in-progress.

I'm convinced that Jay lives in a universe where time flows differently, which explains how he can write, revise and sell a story in a week! :-)

Um, yes. Then I finished it, then I pitched the editor, then I sent it to him, then he bought it, then we made minor contract changes, then I announced it.

Good eye!

Well, the title stuck in my head from last week.

I'm thinking that once one commits to the "a story a week" philosophy, then time does indeed accelerate and events like the above are a common occurrence.

So, how much re-arrangement of life was required for you to become a devotee of "A Story A Week"? (perhaps this should go to the Questions thread).

Oddly, no one ever likes the answer to that question. As in, I don't watch tv, very rarely go to movies, don't go to concerts, don't go out clubbing or drinking, don't play online or computer games -- pretty much don't have what most people recognize as a social life. Like, work, hang with my kid, writer, some socializing.
