[poll] Gaming and genredom

I find myself wondering, apropos of nothing much in particular, about the relationship between the genre community and gaming, specifically RPGs. So here's quick poll to satisfy nothing more than my curiosity.

Poll #1087570 Gamers in Genre? Who knew?

Are you now or have you ever been a gamer?

Duh. With every breath I take. Are the Police a rock band?

Did gaming launch you into genre? Does it keep you here? Does gaming time interfere with writing time, or vice versa? What does/did it mean to you?
