Is someone reading here a native speaker of Continental Portuguese? I need a few snippets reviewed for the copy edit of Escapement, and my usual Portuguese informant is very busy. Please ping me in comments if you or someone you know can help. This is probably 20 minutes of effort for someone with the right language skills.

All good, and my profound thanks to goblindegook.

Thanks!

if you can't find someone, I have a friend-of-a-friend I could contact... though they know Kadath slightly better.

And if that doesn't work, I'd recommend you contact sarahahoyt, who in addition to be a fine person, and a novelist in our field, is also a native of Portugal. She and her husband Dan (not a Portugal native) were at WFC, and you may have met them. I think they came to your cheese affair.

Tell her I sent you, and that I said "hi."
