2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

Well, except for my apparent lack of Doddmania...that and the fact that I am even 40% aligned with Giuliani surprises me. Must be his socially moderate stances.

Heh. Giuliani comes in at 35% for me...but my number one is Mike Gravel, followed by Edwards, Kucinich, and then Obama and Clinton.

2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

It is somewhat surreal that my top match is someone whom I don't even recall seeing mentioned in the news...

I wouldn't worry too much - Dodd has dropped out.

You conservative weenie! ;-) This overly simplistic "quiz" — which wrongly assumes not only that the limited number of choices reflects all of the relevant options, but assumes that none of those issues are interrelated (e.g., the "withdraw from Iraq" and "genocide in Darfur" questions are not independent!) — said I'm 90% for Kucinich, 89% for Dodd, 81% for Obama, and 79% for Edwards.

And there isn't a single question on education, tax burdens/responsibilities, law enforcement priorities aside from grass, or a myriad of other issues that are more important to me than several of the "hot button" issues that were oversimplified.

You conservative weenie!

There's a label I don't hear very often.

Okay, try to make sense of my results:

66% John McCain
59% Chris Dodd
57% Hillary Clinton
53% Mike Huckabee
52% John Edwards
52% Rudy Giuliani
52% Barack Obama
51% Joe Biden
49% Bill Richardson
47% Dennis Kucinich
47% Mitt Romney
46% Mike Gravel
42% Ron Paul
40% Tom Tancredo
40% Fred Thompson

This is why I get very annoyed when people call me a conservative. It says more about the room I'm in than my own politics.
