Are people having the comment threading problem on their LJs? This is enough to drive me to WordPress or some such, with an LJ feed.

ETA: It was a problem with my style. I've selected a new style, as advised, and lost a great deal of customization, but comments work correctly. How the old style, which was stable for several years, suddenly melted is beyond me.

It's intermittent, which is what's really driving me bats. Sometimes I can make a threaded reply, sometimes I can't. Which strongly implies a bug rather than a settings error. I will check in any case.

I know LJ has had a few hiccups the last couple of days with sending email responses for some comment threads.

Very intermittent.

Some of the feeds I'm on have been having issues, perhaps this is a sign of a general issue with their system.

I had a week when my friends page took 10 minutes to load and comments or following a link bounced me off the internet. Lj was the only place it happened. I complained and they fixed it but never told me they fixed it. They just did.

I'm not seeing a problem at all. Even in this post. I'm sorry.

Huh. I use the same style you used to use, and my threading seems to work fine. (of course I don't often get the volume or complexity of commentage that you do, but it still seems to work at my level.)
