Chip and pin scam ‘has netted millions from British shoppers’ — Fascinating crime story, and a bit eerie, to say the least. (Thanks to lt260.)

Dems see red as Republicans run as Greens — Classy, very classy. Can’t win under your own name with your own ideas, steal somebody else’s brand! The GOP: your party of ethical government.

Sarah Palin: The view from Alaska — Confidential to conservatives in America: Couldn’t you guys get a better class of political heroes? (Thanks to my Aunt M.)

Subject: True Colours
Back when I was a lad - in the pre-Cambrian or thereabouts - there was a local election in which a raft of 6 'independents' appeared on posters printed in magenta (not a GB political colour) Strangely, all 6 were past or present committee members of the local Conservative and Unionist Association. The love that dare not speak its name, it seems. Coloured my opinion for life, that did.

I've thought for some time that your present administration has been behaving more and more like 'born to rule Tories'.
