I took a bit of time from the synopsis of Sunspin to photograph some commissioned art just completed by Mother of the Child. It’s very pretty.

As usual, more at the Flickr set. Also, if you interested in a commission, contact her through me.

Sadly, no. I suppose I should help her remedy that. This is also why I periodically blog her art here.

Whoa. And I might I say: whoa. Very nice.

She doesn't work for free, huh?

Arguably she often works for free, but that's not the desired state, really.

The neighbor called...
...they want their door back.

Really neat work...and the background of the photo is perfect.

The thing I quite like about this is the way, in the big shot, that the art looks like it blends into the tree and the background, as though reality were an extension of the painting.

Shame it won't look like that wherever the door will be hung, though.

Oooo....Door Loves....

That is the coolest door I've seen in a while. That would be perfect for a child's bedroom, or a wandering artist's retreat.

Honestly though, where does she get her inspiration? I want some.
