I am pleased to announce that the Sekrit Projekt is no longer Sekrit. Space opera novelette "To Raise a Mutiny Betwixt Yourselves" has been accepted for The New Space Opera II, ed. Gardner Dozois and Jonathan Strahan. This is in continuity with Sunspin, the space opera trilogy I plan to write next year, so if you want a preview of that, you'll definitely need to score the anthology.

I am quite excited.

Although I like the title you mentioned whilst Twittering, I must say I prefer the new title.

But only 'cause you rolled out a "betwixt."

Congratulations! I still need to finish off Space Opera I, as I have a rising interest in space stories. But I will pick up II when it comes out, as well.

Only laterally so. I considered using the DOAS continuity for the whole SUNSPIN project, but I needed too many different things. Much the same flavor, though.

I liked the first TNSO, and recently heard another author whose LJ I follow and work I like is going to have a "sekrit projekt" in the same anthology, too.

As I said to him, this just makes me more interested in getting the second TNSO.
