elusivem and garyomaha fetched me from my hotel on account of I refused to drive.We cut a bit short due to the increase in the freezing rain. Which is apparently turning to thundersnow now, btw. Back at the hotel I fetched the ice scraper out of my rental before it froze solid. Then I scraped the 1/2 inch of ice off the windows so I'd have 1/2 inch less to scrape tomorrow. By the time I got all the way around the car the first part I'd scraped was iced over again. Le plus-que ca change...
Given the weather in both Omaha and Portland, I will be extremely surprised to get home tomorrow, but I shall nonetheless present myself at the airport ca. 4 am. I have back up plans if I need to stay in Omaha a day or two, but I shall be bummed if so due to missing various family activities. Wish me luck.
