I am pleased to announce that my novella, "Chain of Stars", has been accepted by Subterranean for publication online later this year.

This piece is set in the Mainspring universe, and is a loose sequel to "Chain of Fools", published last year at Subterranean.

ETA: The acquisition announcement at Subterranean Press.

Nicely done.

I swear, I keep giving those people more and more of my money for their hardcover novellas...

I'm pretty sure you publish the odd novella yourself, my friend.

true, but there are some significant differences, including:

1) he's publishing novellas as stand-alone books.
2) his production values are much better.
3) he's publishing many more of them.

On the other hand, I really like having the books he publishes. So my post wasn't so much a complaint (though I admit, it does sound a little whiny) as an observation.

Bottom line though, Bill puts out some really fine books. Nice to see your work will be among them.
