[photos] The Child stalks the hummingbird

Recently I've posted photos of the Anna's hummingbird which is nesting the backyard of Nuevo Rancho Lake. Today the_child took my DSLR with the 300mm lens and went up on the roof to see if she could get a better vantage on the nest.

Mama hummingbird takes wing. We resolved to stay off the roof now so as not to frighten her off her nest permanently.
