[writing] The day that was

For a day where I didn't seem to do much, I believe I've accomplished a lot.

  • Tweaked Endurance outline, sent it off to arcaedia for final review prior to shipping it to casacorona

  • Put it some solid wordage on the current short fiction collaboration-in-progress with calendula_witch

  • Revisions to my joint stories with kenscholes from the recent Borderlands Books festivities — "The Starship Mechanic" and "Looking for Truth in a Wild Blue Yonder" (they're going into a pitch package along with an article by calendula_witch about the process)

  • Reworked about 30 pages of the diplomatic thriller novel I'm drafting with my dad the retired ambassador

  • Got somewhat caught up on correspondence and miscellaneous stuff such as interviews

I'm sure there was more than that, but this is what leaps to mind at the moment. Not a bad day's work for me being out of the house much of the afternoon. I'll be taking a couple of projects to China with me, but I'm trying to get a lot of this stuff slammed home. Need to get the Footprints toc order turned in tomorrow, along with a few other tasks before I go on Tuesday,
