Business Class from Vancouver to Tokyo was virtually empty — only two other people besides the three of us, amid 40 seats in two cabins.
the_child and her mother tried the Japanese catering. I was not so brave.
She also made friends with the flight attendants. We had two of our very own, basically.
the_child taught one of them how to make origami flowers, in return she was taught how to make origami cranes.
