Nothing improved this morning. About to head for the airport, my "home" ER this afternoon. The Fear is much at issue, to the point where I'm starting to get angry at it. calendula_witch is magnificent.

Best wishes for good health! IMO, anger can be just the right medicine - get as mad as you need to get better. :-)

Maybe somebody can make you a nice replacement intestine? maryrobinette perhaps, or kateyule? Something in a nice, comfy knit, with moving parts and all?

I hope the home docs get things fixed quickly.

I can only offer you my earnest support. We're behind you 100%.

When my son was dying from a brain tumor, I read a book called 'Who Dies' by Stephen Levine. His basically Buddhist philosophy provided me with an excellent turning point in my own brand of fear.

The thing is, the fear can eat up the good time we have left - no matter how old we are - and it knows it and that makes it seem stronger. It is NOT stronger - we are. We have the power to prevail. We create it, so we can destroy it.
