What are your objections?

The problem with giving these kids this training so early in their lives is that it could set them up for the same type of aggressive, authoritarian mindset that is necessary for effective police work. These kids are too young (IMO) to be putting on that kind of filter.

But I'm not convinced that that's all these kids are being trained in-- service projects every Saturday I can completely get behind. I would certainly appreciate a closer look at these programs to see what the bulk of their time is spent on.
