Not a ghost, nope. I don't believe in ghosts, and I do believe in you.

Very interesting thought, Jay.

Makes me think, too, about how I see my place in the universe.

I've heard from other folks who are intimate with mortality: I need to be touched by my friends and family.

I think it can be very real, both ways. It makes for real interpersonal challenges, too, when it doesn't happen simultaneously.

Thinking of you, Jay.

Had 2/3s of my liver chopped out this year, and it was pretty tough coming back from that compared to the bowel surgery the year before. I had no luck with the chemo, so it was simply a physical recovery from the surgery.

Going through more blood tests and PET scans to see if the spread has halted or whether we start focusing the knives elsewhere.

I'm amazed you've continued writing fiction throughout this time. Chemo killed almost every piece of creative thinking fiction wise that I had.

And the Ghost never dies...

You're all going through a disastrous, surreal time; they probably need your touch, too :)

Jay, if you like, next time I see you, I will grab your butt. Or maybe Paul will. Who can say, really?
