So I was real tired last night. (Gee, I wonder why?) So I went to bed early. So I woke up early, just after 3 am. So I went for a walk. So I came back to my hotel room and wrote for two hours before heading out for the day jobbe. So that's another 4,200 words on Endurance.

It's a sickness, I tell you.

It's not a sickness. It's the hair. You are the Sampson of the writing world. I worry though, I fear you may be drawn in by a brazen blonde hussy some day who will seek the secret of your words. You will tell her lies of course, tell it it is your USB cables, of course will wake one morning bound in USB cables, the blonde hussy will shout, Awake Jay, the Philistines are upon you. But you will rise, shake of the cables, and write prose so smooth, that the Philistines will become vegetarians and come over later for Tofu burgers and Soy milk.

So for your own sake, don't tell her the truth, for your locks would be cut in your sleep, and when you woke to face the philistines, you would only find yourself able to type political diatribes and then? Well you know the rest of the story.

So keep writing well and enjoy.

If there's a cure for that sickness, I wouldn't want it. :)

As far as sicknesses go, it's a good one to have. :)

It's called hypergraphia and is a known mental condition. I'm reading a book about it right now, called The Midnight Disease. However, since it ain't getting in the way of you functioning, I'd say it's not a problem.

Wow. It sounds like "Endurance" is a good title.

On another subject, I am considering joining Pacific Northwest Writers' Association (although I live in the Pacific SOUTHwest). Is there a reason that I have not found you on the list of members?

I'm thinking good thoughts of hope and wellness for you.
