I'm considering changing the subtitle of this blog. Currently (on LJ only), it's subtitled "A More Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy". But sometimes one just has to freshen up. Here's a few options, let me know what you think. Also bonus for anyone who wants to illustrate any of these comments. Best illustration will win a free book (or two).

Poll #1430120 Blog subtitle

Which subtitle best represents this blog?

A More Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy
10(14.5%)
Cylindrical Primate Storage Unit
12(17.4%)
A Spherical Cow of Uniform Density
24(34.8%)
Pennyloafers and Fishnets
18(26.1%)
Something else I shall explain in comments, you dunderhead
5(7.2%)

I'd like to expand on that: Jay Walking or Omnibus?

(Sorry, I still need to finish the morning tea.)

Something that ends in "so you don't have to"

"Doing all the dangerous stunts, so you don't have to"

"Living it up, so you don't have to"

etc ... something like that ... I seem to recall a posting of philosophy to that effect, perhaps with the "abandoned missle silo tour" post?

While I like Pennyloafers and Fishnets (don't know why, it just tickeled me :>), I think something that ends in "...so you don't have to" is even better - what an absolutely *smashing* idea from jeffsoesbe :>

Where did you come across the spherical cows? (I know where I came across them, but I like to track their progress.)

The joke about the physicist and the farmer, though I don't remember who first told it to me.

That's not the route I know. Mine involves an eminent economist who is active in rasfc/rasfw, who tends to argue about spherical cows.

I voted for pennyloafers and fishnets because I got a chuckle.

But that was before I saw jtdiii's suggestion of "Jay Walking". I'm officially changing my vote. Jay Walking just has so much symbolic meaning and humor.
