The pyramids have never struck me as that mysterious. Super-duper cool? Yes. Mysterious? Not really. I might just be lacking in imagination though, since I bet someone out there thinks the pyramids are, even now, channelling our life force to dreaded alien intelligences of unfathomable and cold intellect.
