As calendula_witch continues to so ably document, most recently here, I am at home recovering, I seem to be able to handle a small amont of Twitter, but blogging and email are bot very tough for me right now under the influence of opiates. But as I am up in the middle of the night with the dosage transition itchies, I thought I'd send my love out to the Intarwebs on this week of uncharacteristic post-surgical silence.

Y'all have been wonderful.

Actually, mostly we've just sat here and read about real people being really wonderful all around you, but...

It's good to have a word from you in passing. Now get back to bed.

Yay for opiates!

Glad to hear the nacho-ectomy went smoothly, and best wishes for you to regain your vim and vigor with speed.

Wasn't Opiate on the Andy Griffith Show?

Wish we were there with you. Instead, we're preparing for the bottom to drop out of the thermometer here.

I like the dreamy driftyness of opiates and I certainly like the way they cut the pain. But they make me itch rather badly. And they have another feature which puts me completely off them...

You see, after about two days on opiates, daytime TV gets *interesting* to me. No way in hell am I gonna put up with that!

You know, the itching bit sounds a lot like my mother when she had her gastric bypass surgery and they gave her morphine. Turns out she's allergic to the stuff, hence the itching, and they swapped her meds and said itching went away!

That said, I'm SO glad to hear you're home and doing well. *HUGS*

Yay! Jay-sighting!

Enjoy the opiates while you may--the blogging will come back, the drugs will go away. In the meantime, it's just good to see your phosphors.
