[child] the_child continues being her bad self

the_child's first run on the professional stage ends this weekend, as ¡Entusiasmo! closes Saturday evening. She seems to have enjoyed it a lot, we'll see if she has caught the bug.

In other news, she's been working on an original composition on my ancestral piano. lasirenadolce helped her with some transcription, then the_child called her music teacher at home for some additional advice. The next day at school he put her handwritten notes into a program, corrected the note values, and gave her back a printout of the first part of the song. I eagerly await further developments.
