Last week jackwilliambell did something incredibly generous. He sent me some of late wife's skullcaps, for my chilly chemo-bald head. Chemo brain is chemo, and I've been dilatory in thanking both him and Anita.

We remember, Jack. And you are quite the gentleman.

You are very welcome dude. I hope you find them warm, soft, and comfortable.

For those who don't know the story: I didn't send old used skullcaps that belonged to Anita. I sent two that she made to give away. She originally knitted a couple for her own chemo-bald head and then kept knitting, making at least a couple of dozen all told. She would present them as thank you gifts to anyone who was helpful to us during her illness.

The two I sent Jay were from the very last batch of three. I kept one for myself.
