totally iconic - I knew what it was before i sawyou had put a title on there. Sadly missed, and may be a good few years before it is surpassed.....

There's some talk about trying to get a Concorde flying again as a privateer -- after all the Vulcan Trust got a nuclear-capable jet bomber out of the boneyard and into the sky again, and the engine fitout is the same in both aircraft pretty much. There's a little bit of worry in government circles though about a privately-held aircraft that's faster in sustained flight and altitude than anything the RAF could use to intercept it today.
