the_child and I joined calendula_witch and her mom and step-dad for a day of outing and abouting. I made breakfast tacos, then we hit Rocky Butte and the Rose Test Garden, before winding up the day at a long and entertaining dinner with some of their relatives who also live in Greater Portlandia. Similar, slightly lower-key shenanigans shall ensue today, including perhaps a trip to Saturday market.I was tired a lot, and sat out of some the walking amongst the roses, but I held it together all day, and had a long, solid night's sleep. Looking forward to another day of being normal(ish) today.
