[personal|photos] Mill Ends Park

Yesterday I had a delightful lunch with [info]mlerules, which we concluded by an expedition to Mill Ends Park, which I believe is the smallest officially recognized urban park in the world. (See also wikipedia.)

It's a small park, bounded by generous concrete walls and convenient to downtown Portland. A crosswalk provides access to weary pedestrians, and there are even places to rest one's feet. Contemplation of the biota of Mill Ends Park will fill long moments of one's attention, though care must be taken to avoid passing buses.

A visit to Mill Ends Park rewards the eye and delights the soul, all in the space of a minute or two.
