Don't think I've ever tried it, although I seem to recall that the Cantina? out PCH in Malibu (nr Zume/Pt Dume) claims to serve such. I only barely remember the food but distinctly remember atrocious service when I ate there a dozen or more years ago.

Obama is a very well thought out and sober president and while this looked great on the campaign trail when he was up against the legacy of Bush and McCain's sputtering, it seems like a weakness when he's in office and trying to build consensus. This is what we voted for - someone who wasn't going to go off and run roughshod over all opposition.

Only his actions are slow and it isn't until they pay off that people respect him. SOmetimes they don't like with health care but sometimes they do like with Don't Ask Don't Tell where the debate was so thorough that it's impossible for it to ever be returned.

Obama made contradictory promises when on the campaign trail, and while this may work as a campaign strategy, it fails miserably as a governing strategy. When faced with the political or other downside to one of his policies, he has a tendency to back down. He has no ability to stay on course, a serious failing in a President.

I tolerate tex-mex (and cali-mex), but really I prefer real-mex in all it's incredible (and incredibly tasty) variety.

Amen. For me, tex-mex is just a neutered version of the real thing.
