The president is Citizen Obama. Get over it. — Eugene Robinson on birtherism and facts. Empirical polarization — a rejection of this nation's founding Enlightenment principles — is something new. This isn't exactly news. Remember President Bush and the "true facts"? For that matter, anybody who believes in Creationism makes the same fundamental errors of thought. The Right is nothing if not consistent in its idiocies.
