Anti-government, anti-democracy — The Tea Party is what conservatism has come to. Much to their shame, and to the deep detriment of the country as a whole. The contradictions of these Hobbesian hippies are seen most clearly when they are asked to explain what it is that they are for — what it is that they would like to see replace the "government of the people, by the people and for the people" at which they sneer with such vicious contempt. It's not easy to get an answer.
