Why Obama Should Run Against the Supreme CourtJust because its justices are not elected doesn't mean they're not political. It's time for some public accountability. The Supremes have certainly been placing partisan politics over the national interest since at least Bush v. Gore. They flatly admitted as much in that ruling when they disclaimed its use as precedent in future cases. Conservative chickens almost never come home to roost, however. The entire movement has been made of teflon pretty much my whole life.
