Mu apologies for the lack of updates, but my few attempts at blogging and emailing have rife with typos that indicate my brain is as online as well all might like to think.

The surgical procedure itself went flawlessly, with no post-operative bleeding or infection. I am proceeding through post-operative recovery at an amazing pace. The key point of interest, of course, are the five tumors discovered outside the liver itself. We don't have the pathology data yet to draw even tentative conclusions, and are awaiting the genomic testing data as well.

The trend lines are no encouraging, but we don't know what we don't know. For know, I am N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease) status, and shall we proceed somehow.

More when it comes, and as my brain comes back to life. I am enjoying a steady stream of visits and good wishes to cheer me along.

I wish you much good cheer! And continued speedy recovery.

Also, an end to the Job-like cruel life twists. Enough is enough.

Your apologies? Jay, perhaps you have excessively good manners, or maybe or overly developed sense of irony.

I'm happy to see your electrons back in play.

Here's hoping the genomic testing will yield useful (and presumably surprising) information, because clearly the chemo was not doing anything more than being a speed bump for the disease.

Continuing good wishes coming from this quarter.

glad that those whisps of anesthesia are leaving you, and you are feeling better.

Now you got tumor gang activity outside the liver, wanting to take over the more popular turf.. bring on that seqencing!
