Saturday rises in the east like a drunken sun staggering home to the house of noon

Saturday morning. Better, not fabu, health wise. Off soon for a busy, complicated day, prolly no more blogging til tonight.

Saw the Narnia movie last night. One of the previews was for the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie, in which Cthulu apparently makes an appearance. As for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, I was pretty disappointed. It had no soul. The plot seemed to just happen at the convenience of the director -- Edmund was the only character whose actions led to story development, and for the most part I wanted to pop him in the kneecaps and shove him down a well. It was gorgeously done, and mostly worth my matinee $ and time, but the only thing I really loved was Tilda Swinton as the überskanky walking cold sore White Witch who somehow still contrived to be hotter than a two dollar pistol. Her hair stylist ought to get an Oscar, her costumer ought to be exiled to Patagonia.

'nuff said, I suppose.

Still stoked about the Realms sale. I want to shout out my buddy Ken Scholes, who made his first pro-WotF pro sale there yesterday as well. Off to my day. Y'all play nice. Think of me while I'm in darkest Albany.
